for Future Missionaries

Welcome to the Germany Frankfurt Mission!

"We are thrilled to be able to work with you in the great missionary effort to preach the gospel to the wonderful people of Germany.  Jesus said, “Wherefore he that preacheth and he that receiveth, understand one another, and both are edified and rejoice together.” – D& C 50:22.  Our calling as missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them understand, make and keep sacred covenants.

"Our Father in Heaven knows you personally and has inspired living prophets to call you to serve in this great mission.  The mission is “great” because of the great people who live within its boundaries and whom the Lord has prepared to receive His gospel.  As you lose yourself in His service and learn to love the people that you meet, you will be successful in bringing people to Christ.

"In the introduction to “Preach My Gospel,” the First Presidency quotes Moses 1:39, which states the Lord’s work:  “This is my work and my glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.”  In D& C 11:21, the Lord states our work:  “This is your work, to keep my commandments, yea with all your might, mind, and strength.”  Obedience is not only the first law of the gospel but is absolutely essential for happiness and success in this great work.

Your attitude in the Lord’s work is critical to your success.  Attitude is everything.  Each of us is in charge of our attitude and we truly have the ability to choose to be positive.  We are teaching people the “Great Plan of Happiness” and happiness is a choice, and comes only when we keep the commandments and choose to be happy.

This is an historic time in the history of the world.  The Lord is “hastening His work” and we have the opportunity to work closely with the dear members of the church in Germany in this great effort.  It is an honor to serve with you.  Thank you for your worthiness and willingness to serve.  Please know that we love you and pray for you every day.
